Mount Baker Council Court of Honor
and Recognition Dinner

Each year Mount Baker Council holds a court of honor to celebrate dedicated volunteers with special recognitions and awards such as National Heroism Award, Venturing Leadership Award, and the Silver Beaver Award - the highest honor a council can bestow. Awards for individuals are proposed, approved, and presented without the recipients’ request or participation.

Check the council website and the Mountain Echo early in the year for the upcoming dates and times.

The Silver Beaver Award

This recognition began in 1931 and is presented to a volunteer in recognition of noteworthy service to youth in his or her community. It is the highest national award that a local council can bestow to a volunteer within its territory. That’s what makes this event so special.
Please join us as we honor some of our most outstanding leaders.
