Incentives for Mount Baker’s Popcorn Sale

NEW $1000 Club. Scouts that sell $1000 will receive 2 tickets to the December Scout Night at the Everett Silvertips and Limited Edition Popcorn Champion Council Patch. These same Scouts are entered into a drawing for one of two fabulous prizes: Large Flat Screen TV and Apple iPad.

Weekly Drawings are available to Scouts who sell $600 in Popcorn. Prizes range in value from $50 to $250. Trail's End Prize Program is now being paid for by Mount Baker Council for all Units. For more information go to the Trail's End Prize Program

PRIZE PROGRAMS FOR YOUR SCOUTS

Each Pack, Troop, Crew, Ship or Post decides what to do with their commissions. Your Unit Committee determines how much of your commission will be used to recognize your Scout's achievement. There are lots of options but here are some suggestions:

1. Use a Bonus Incentive Plan: Successful units have their own incentives on top of the Trail's End prize program. Many units purchase gift cards for Scouts who are top sellers and hold special parties to recognize achievement.
   
   
2. Pay for Camp! Many units share the profits, with a portion going to support the Pack, Troop or Crew program and some going directly to the Scouts. Some units put the Scout's share into a Day Camp, Scout Camp fee or summer super activity account managed within the Pack, Troop, Crew or Ship. Other units waive dues if a Scout reaches a certain goal.
   
   

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES FOR MOUNT BAKER COUNCIL SCOUTS

There are several other incentives to recognize our successful young salesmen:

1. The $2000 Club honors our Scouts with their choice of: a $50 Wal-Mart gift card OR $50 Amazon gift card.
   
   
2. The Council's Top Salesman receives an Everett Silvertips Jersey signed by the entire team.
   
   
3. The Top Five Scouts and a companion receive a ride on the Fanboni at the Everett Silvertips Scout Night in December.
   
   
4. Trail's End also provides a $50 Gift Card for Scouts who sell $1,500 of popcorn. These are ordered under the Prize section of the Popcorn System.
   
   
5. Be part of the Trail's End Scholarship Program with a qualifying sale of $2,500 the first year. Six percent of the Scouts sales in that year and subsequent years will be placed into your scholarship account. See separate sheet for complete details.
