Camp Black Mountain Study
To: Mount Baker Council
From: Camp Black Mountain Study Group
The following are published for your consideration:
1. Camp Black Mountain is the presentation used at the town hall meetings and the August 16 Executive committee meeting
2. District as a Business is a presentation made to the study group at the Everett Town Hall meeting
3. Mt. Baker Council (5) is the full report of the study group
4. CBM RTQ R1 is a set of questions and answers that some may find helpful
5. CBM Excutive Summary is the power Point file for use at the 9-20-2012 Executive Board Meeting
6. Resolution is the resolution proposed by the Study group for the 9-20-2012 Executive Board Meeting
7. Land Management Corporation Proposal 2012 09 17 is a presentation made to the study group at the Bellingham Town Hall meeting
Items 5 & 6 are subject to change up to the time of the Board meeting.
Item 7 is a presentation shown at the Bellingham Town Hall on Monday September 17. The study group is reviewing the content and
considering any action that this proposal may have on its recommendation. Page two of that presentation states that the council “seeks rebuilding of
office and facilities that would involve mortgage payments for capital projects.” The study group is unaware of, and did not use this assumption in any of
its considerations. Additionally the next bullet states the council believes that CBM has a real estate value of 1.75 million dollars. Neither the study
group nor the council have sought a valuation of the property, nor have we speculated on a valuation or used a valuation in any of our studies. The study
group respectfully provides this clarification and believes that does not materially change the actual proposal.
Thank you
