Knots: Arrow of Light (Cub Scouts)

Arrow of Light (Cub Scouts): Recognition for attaining Cub Scouting's highest rank, the Arrow of Light. If you earned the Arrow of Light when you were a Cub Scout, you are entitled to wear this knot.

Note: prior to 1967, the rank following Bear was Lion. From 1941 to 1970, the Arrow of Light badge was awarded for the Webelos rank. Webelos was then similar to what is now the Arrow of Light award. The Arrow of Light award was first given in 1972. Many of the “older folk” who earned the Webelos award before 1972 wear this knot.
