Your gift is important, and appreciated. The member registration fee that our youth pay to participate in the program is sent directly to the National office for registration. Currently, the council raises 89% of the operating budget from businesses, investments, product sales, and through grants.
Where does the money go?
All money given through the council Giving campaign goes directly to unit support. Some of the things that Mount Baker Council does to assist the units are:
- Maintaining the Scout Service Centers
- Running and maintaining our camps
- Furnishing each district with a full time Unit Serving Executive
