Friends and Brothers,
Welcome to your website. This is the first step of
our three step communication plan.
Step 1: Up to date information about the happenings of our lodge.
Step 2: Communicating with every member of our lodge in a timely fashion.
Step 3: Updating and maintaining information and resources quickly and effectively.
Each and every one of you can
be part of carrying out this plan by reading and understanding the
information on this site, including the purpose of the Order of the Arrow,
and sharing that information with your brothers.
In order to insure that you are provided with the most up to date information,
I will personally be making sure that this page is updated within 5 days of an event.
I appologise at the moment for the simplicity of this page. I will be, in the near future,
redoing the rest of the pages which have fallen out of date. However for now. I hope this will help
you all to get the information you need in a timely fashion. If you have
information to share with your brothers, please contact me .
Yours in brotherhood, cheerfulness and service,
Chris

Purpose of the Order:
To recognize those campers -- Scouts and Scouters -- who best exemplify
the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives, and by such recognition cause
other campers to conduct themselves in such manner as to warrant
recognition.
To develop and maintain camping traditions and
spirit.
To promote Scout camping, which reaches its greatest
effectiveness as a part of the unit's camping program, both year-round and
in the summer camp, as directed by the camping committee of the
council.
To crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life
purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others.
Mission of the Lodge:
The mission of the lodge is to achieve the purpose of the Order of the
Arrow as an integral part of the Boy Scouts of America in the council
through positive youth leadership under the guidance of selected capable
adults. |
