Who Should Attend the University of Scouting?

All leaders who are interested in new ideas and techniques sharing ideas, and simply finding out what to do should come to the University of Scouting. If you are an adult or older youth in Scouting, there is something for you.

With 162 classes (27 per hour) and an Expo, there is plenty to do and a lot to see at the University of Scouting! The day's basic schedule is shown below.

Why Attend?

The University of Scouting gives everyone an opportunity to gather the latest information on Scouting programs, council sponsored events, new ideas, and more.

Besides basic training in all programs, we offer the best supplemental training available, with over a 130 courses covering general interest, Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing.

Get your questions answered by experienced and knowledgeable Scouters. The course presenters are eager to share.

This is an opportunity to learn and then apply the best practices to work in your Cub Scout pack, Boy Scout troop, Varsity yeam, Venturing crew, and district.

You will be exposed to ways to improve your units’ program and at the same time make your job as a volunteer leader easier.
