It All About Eagle Scout? Varsity isn’t just a Boy Scout troop for older boys. It’s an entirely different program with its own structure and some new awards (in addition to the Boy Scout awards and ranks). When advancement appears as an exciting opportunity and not as a burden, nearly every Scout will rise to the occasion. When a team’s adult and youth leaders take care of the program, advancement often inevitably follows. Learn to deal with both “The big advancer” and Mr. “I don’t care about Scouts”—at the same time. Learn how to make the adventure of Scout advancement hands-on, allowing Varsity Scouts to put themselves in the center of exciting activities and make them their own. |
2:00 PM | VAR 251 |
