How to Become a Trained Leader

Trained leaders provide a quality, fun-filled program for boys and young men and young women. When leaders understand the whys and hows of Scouting, they are more effective in their roles and they and the youth have a better experience!

Following are the steps that will allow you to be a “Trained” leader.  We ask that you register for training courses well in advance so that we can have adequate staff and training materials for you. You may attend at any location that is convenient for you.
