Intro. to Outdoor Leader Skills – April 28-29, 2017

An Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course, hosted by the Puget Sound District, will be held on Friday-Saturday, April 28-29, 2017, at Fire Mountain Scout Camp, 26027 Walker Valley Road, Mount Vernon, WA.  This training will give you the hands on practical outdoor skills needed to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors.  You will learn how to teach Scouts the skills they must learn from Tenderfoot through First Class and includes such areas as woods tools, map and compass, ropes, cooking, plant and animal identification, campfires, camping and hiking.  It is a 2-day overnight course.

Cost:  $20.00 (meals included in fee)
