Welcome to the Camp-In

The Mount Baker Council Virtual Camp-In is being run the same weekend as the World Scouting Jamboree on the Internet (and that isn’t by mistake)!

While we celebrate together a new program year in Scouting and welcome new members to our Cub Scout packs and Scout BSA Troops we will be getting to know our fellow Scouts and Scouters from AROUND THE WORLD!

We will be sending out emails and text messages during the Camp-In to remind you about some fun stuff we are doing here in the Mount Baker Council over the weekend so be sure to register for the Camp-In below as well as registering for the Jamboree on the Internet (link also below).

During the Camp-In we will be asking for Scouts to give us Journal Entires. Once you have five unique entires from our BINGO card you will earn a FREE Camp-In patch! So be sure to participate in the Camp-In AND JOTI so you can do your entires!

Step 1: Register for the Camp-In

Step 2: Register for the Jamboree

IMPORTANT NOTE: For best use of the JOTI site use Google Crome.

The Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI)  is being hosted by the World Scouting Movement. You will need to create a account to register for the Jamboree (this is different then your BSA My.Scouting or Scoutbook accounts).

Once registered you can explore the JOTI interactive map. You can then click on areas such as the FUN ZONE where you can sign up for scheudled events as part of the JOTI and have fun with activities (some have started already!).

After you add events to your schedule you can see “Your Schedule” under your profile.

Our Mission

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

What is Cub Scouts?

Boys and Girls

K- 5th Grade

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

What is Scouts BSA?

Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience for youth in the fifth grade through high school. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
