This year’s keynote speaker is Representative Carolyn Eslick, 39th District representative
Carolyn grew up on a farm, learning the value of hard work and commitment to purpose. As a restaurant owner for more than 20 years, she understands the challenges facing employers and employees.
Carolyn served six years as a city council member and more than nine years as the mayor of Sultan. While working in local government she demonstrated an unwavering commitment to keeping her community safe. Carolyn is dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential. She served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club and works closely with community members to find solutions to teenage drug and alcohol abuse.
Representative Eslick was appointed in 2017 to the 39th District seat within the Washington State House of Representatives.
Carolyn lives in Sultan with her husband, Chuck Donaldson, a high school shop and agriculture teacher. They have a blended family, with five children and five grandchildren.
This is a complementary event, with a request for your financial support of local Scouting’s character building programs. We are working to raise $10,000 to benefit local Scouting. Our theme is “Building our Second Century” and recognizes our mission to deliver on the promise of Scouting for the entire family.
