Benefiting Scouting’s character-building programs delivered to Skagit County Families
Tuesday, April 17, 2018
Salem Lutheran Church
2529 N Laventure Rd
Mount Vernon, WA 98273
Registration is from 7:00 – 7:30 am, breakfast program beginning at 7:30 am.
Join this year’s keynote speaker, Ernest W. Tutt, Ed.D., from Skagit Community College Communications Studies Department. Dr. Tutt has resided in Washington since 2003 but his love of the spoken word began much earlier as a child in Texas. Dr. Tutt believes the spoken word has “the ability to affect change within our world and upon the human condition.” The Mount Baker Council and Skagit District are excited to have this dynamic and passionate speaker at our annual breakfast.
This year’s Honoree is Don Wick, the retiring Executive Director of the Economic Development Association of Skagit County. Mr. Wick is a well-known personality in the Skagit County area having served for 30-years with the Economic Development Associate of Skagit County.
This is a complementary event, with a request for your financial support of local Scouting’s character building programs. We are working to raise $20,000 to benefit local Scouting. Our theme is “Building our Second Century” and recognizes our mission to deliver on the promise of Scouting for the entire family.
