Jake Locker – Keynote Speaker

Having grown up in Ferndale, Jake is a local Whatcom County boy. He was a star athlete at Ferndale High School, playing baseball and football. Turning down a draft opportunity into major league baseball, he opted toplay football for the University of Washington. After college he was drafted into the NFL’S Tennessee Titans franchise. Jake retired in 2015 so he could spend more time with his family and devote more service to his community. He is a distinguished and generous Whatcom County citizen.

Our goal

This is a complementary event, with a request for your financial support of local Scouting’s character building programs. In addition to honoring a distinguished community leader and our recent Eagle Scouts, we are raising funds to support the character-building Scouting programs that are delivered
throughout Whatcom County. Our goal is to raise $35,000 in critical operating funds for 2018. Our theme is “Building our Second Century” and recognizes our mission to deliver on the promise of Scouting for the entire family.
